Roses are not hard to find
Anytime when love makes you blind
Clear in mind and warm inside
You know that this girl is a certain kind
It was Annie's little secret...
Love is always coming back
Even though it's a train on track
Nothing's like it once seemed to be
'Cause in her heart's ain't no place for me
It was Annie's little secret...
Unfaithful is her way of life
Lovin' you cuts me deep like a knife
The scars won't heal, 'cause the time stands still
To be your only one is my last will
It was Annie's little secret...
Sun, won't you come, and make all my troubles gone
Sun, the night is done, come out, what you're hiding from
Sun, shinning strong, you know there is nothing wrong
about
Each morning, when the earth has awoken, birds start telling tales and the sun is rising with its haze upon the surface over the moving reed plants at the far east of the austrian national park Seewinkel and lake Neusiedl, Sunhaze Reflection begin their journey of creating marvelous music that fits their band name perfectly.
The quintett, consisting of Sebastian Walter Gruber, Fabian Rittsteuer, Hans Christoph Radl, Klement Sekuloski and Ferdinand Wagner, emerges with it's first release of their laid-back psychedelic soul single "Annie's Little Secret" and psychedelic folk/jazz world B-Side "Mornin' Sun Arises". The ideal use of electric guitar, acoustic guitar, fender rhodes, flute, drums, fender jazz bass, congas and a variety of percussion instruments blend together mesmerisingly beautiful to form a brand new but ongoing sound of opening mind music. Both songs were recorded in mid June on one day live at the legendary, slightly ethnic Cselley Mühle in the wonderful landside of Burgenland completely analog on an 8 track tape machine accompanied, mixed and mastered by engineer genius Thomas Pronai. The album artwork was created by Cape Town based and madly talented artist Jordan Schiffer (@gurujords).
Both tracks are dedicated to 2 special persons and resemble the feeling of reflecting thoughts and memories in celebration of a free and thoughtful mind. The bands philosophy is to write music that people can listen to anywhere and anytime. Those who admire the works of Kikagaku Moyo, Skinshape, Wax Machine, Grateful Dead, Sweet Smoke and many other breathtaking psychedelic bands are highly advised to listen to Sunhaze Reflection's debut songs. The reflection has begun, be part of it.
